EZ Reading

Apparently, this blog is relatively easy reading. It has a Gunning-Fog index of 6.49. That means that 6th graders (12 year olds) can read my blog. For comparison, here are a few references.

6: TV guides, The Bible, Mark Twain
8: Reader's Digest
8 - 10: Most popular novels
10: Time, Newsweek
11: Wall Street Journal
14: The Times, The Guardian
15 - 20: Academic papers
Over 20: Only government sites can get away with this, because you can't ignore them.
Over 30: The government is covering something up

So will being a comfortable reading site attract more visitors or should I start tossing in words like "anti-establishmentism" to spice up my blog? Any opinions oh erudite readers?

P.S. A new link has been added. Go check it out and comment!! The author is (in his own words) a comments whore.

something is wrong wif ur new link. it has TWO 'http://'s... as in "http://http://". You might wanna fix that. Also, it might make ur life worse with words like anti-establishmentism popping up here and there since those 12 year olds will start asking you what they mean and you'll have to explain what it means. Or, I might get too frustrated with those bombastic words and beat the crap outta you in a blink of an eye, thus ending your life as a blogger :)

Haha, ironically, after writing this post, my Gunning Fog index went up to 6.99.
